01 / Security guarding

Static guarding is our expert field.

Around-the-clock cover for premises, office blocks, industrial estates, factories, hospitals, schools, warehouses and building sites.

Our security officers are fully trained, vetted, uniformed and certified. They can be deployed as commercial officers protecting staff, stock and premises, or as front-of-house officers who control access and represent your organisation to everyone who walks in.

  • Quality security officers on documented post orders
  • Mobile security patrols between fixed posts
  • K9 patrol where the site and risk justify it
  • Alarm response and key holding
  • Retail security services and loss prevention

02 / Electronic security

A system is only as good as its weakest point.

Organisations must be able to trust that people, property and assets are in safe hands. When it comes to security, nothing can be left to chance.

We design to minimise risk and maximise the return on what you spend: complete electronic and digital security solutions rather than a box on a wall. We stay alert to emerging threats and to the technologies that answer them, so that whatever the requirement, the result is peace of mind rather than a false sense of it.

  • CCTV specification, installation and camera placement that covers the real gaps
  • Intruder alarms, including temporary systems for sites in transition
  • Access control and biometric entry
  • Integration with manned guarding, so an alert reaches a person who acts

03 / Mobile response

24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A comprehensive range of key holding, alarm response, mobile patrol and property inspection, with rapid response and local management support behind it.

Mobile response suits sites that do not need a permanent officer but cannot be left unwatched, and it is the service that turns an alarm from a noise into an intervention. Specialist elements can be adapted to your requirements:

  • Secure couriers and deliveries
  • Vehicle escorts and VIP escorts
  • Fire alarm testing
  • Temporary intruder alarms
  • Stop and search
  • Dedicated vehicles assigned to your route

04 / Remote monitoring

Protection without a permanent presence.

Remote monitoring makes a security investment go further, minimising cost while maximising protection of people, property and assets.

It complements the equipment and the officers you already have, giving you the benefits of round-the-clock oversight on sites where a permanently manned presence is not warranted. A complete range of managed surveillance services:

  • Remote monitoring of your CCTV and access control
  • Lone worker protection and asset tracking
  • Facilities and building management system oversight
  • Security helpdesk with full control room functionality

The point is long-term cost saving and operational efficiency, not a screen somebody occasionally glances at.

05 / Crowd management

Events are won in the planning.

Our management and support team assists with event planning and preparation, and will attend pre-event safety meetings on your behalf where that helps.

Safety is the paramount concern at any event, and we are committed to sound health and safety working practice. Our staff are experienced in the requirements of major organisations running public events:

  • Public events and exhibitions
  • Sporting events
  • Open-air and indoor concerts
  • Ceremonial and civic events
  • Conferences, seminars and AGMs

06 / Close protection

Discreet by design.

Our officers protect clients, associates and families with close attention to every security detail, operating discreetly, suited to the environment and the status of the principal.

Done properly, close protection gives you the confidence to continue with daily activities knowing that protection is permanently there. Our job is to reduce risk, both specific and non-specific, through planning and awareness: avoiding situations rather than dealing with them, while knowing exactly what to do when something does go wrong, however small or however complicated.

  • Principal, family and associate protection
  • Advance planning, route selection and venue assessment
  • Vehicle and VIP escort
  • Low-profile operation where visibility is itself a risk

07 / Site & area supervision

Quality that meets your continuing needs.

It is our policy to provide a service of a quality that meets the initial and the continuing needs of our customers, and supervision is how the second part happens.

Site and area supervisors are themselves fully trained, vetted and uniformed, and hold certification and firearm competency cards where the role requires them. They visit posts, correct standards where they find them slipping, and carry problems upward before they become your problem.

  • Scheduled post visits, not visits on request
  • On-the-spot correction of standards and appearance
  • Incident escalation to a 24-hour control room

08 / Training & development

Front runners take training seriously.

ANI Private Security & Patrol Ltd takes great pride in the training and development undertaken by all of its personnel.

Where possible we promote from within the company, and we ensure that all staff are given the tools to carry out the most demanding job. Course content covers health and safety training, first aid awareness, fire awareness, staff development and security training. Every member of staff has the opportunity to progress through the ranks with courses in:

  • Store detection
  • Supervision
  • CCTV operation
  • K9 patrol
  • Arrest and restraint
  • Vetting and screening
  • Close protection

Training is what lets us offer a service second to none, to existing customers and to new and prospective clients alike.

09 / Equipment & security aids

An officer is only as effective as their kit.

Equipment is issued against the post and the risk, and checked at handover, because a torch that was never issued is discovered at 2am, not at 2pm.

  • Batons and handcuffs
  • K9, where the site calls for it
  • Two-way mobile radios and base radio sets
  • Whistles
  • Pocket book and pen for incident recording
  • Flashlights for night posts
  • Metal detectors
  • Uniform and identification
  • Cellular phones
  • Vehicles
