Our company

We serve our homeland.

ANI Private Security & Patrol Limited is a Nigerian-owned security company operating from Lagos and Abuja. We provide security personnel and systems to homes, businesses, institutions and events, and we take responsibility for how those officers perform once they are on your site.

Our services are carried out by well trained, equipped and motivated personnel, closely supervised by line and area supervisors. That last clause is not filler. Supervision is the part of the industry most often quietly dropped, and it is the part that decides whether a contract works in month nine as well as it did in week one.

We operate a comprehensive range of key holding, alarm response, mobile patrol and property inspection services, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with rapid response and local management support behind them.

What we stand for

Mission, vision and motto.

Reliable, cost-effective, customer-oriented security.

To select the best security officers, train and retain them, and deliver quality protection to our customers, becoming indispensable to our clients, shareholders and employees through technology applied in line with global best practice, to safeguard people, premises and assets.

To compete favourably, by global standards.

To stand alongside the strongest providers in the security industry, measured not by how many officers we can field, but by whether the ones we field meet an international standard on an ordinary Tuesday night.

“We Serve Our Homeland.”

It sits on our badge for a reason. Most of what we protect is somebody's livelihood, somebody's school run, somebody's shop. We are not guarding abstractions. We are guarding the country we live in.

How we work

Four things we refuse to shortcut.

A security contract fails in predictable places. These are the four we have decided to spend money on rather than explain away.

Nobody is deployed unvetted

Officers are screened before they are hired and vetted before they are posted. Uniform, identification and certification are issued and checked, not assumed. An officer who cannot be accounted for does not stand on a client's gate.

Trained in, then trained up

Course content covers health and safety, first aid awareness, fire awareness, staff development and security training. From there, officers progress through store detection, supervision, CCTV operation, K9 patrol, arrest and restraint, vetting and screening, and close protection. Where possible we promote from within.

Issued to the post, not to the invoice

Batons, handcuffs, two-way radios and base radio sets, whistles, pocket book and pen, torches for night posts, metal detectors, uniform, phones, K9 where needed and vehicles where the route demands them.

Somebody checks, and it is not you

Site and area supervisors are themselves trained, vetted, uniformed and hold certification and firearm competency cards where applicable. They visit posts, correct standards on the spot, and escalate to a control room that is staffed around the clock.

Quality policy

A service that meets your needs, and keeps meeting them.

It is our policy to provide a service of a quality that meets the initial and continuing needs of our customers. The second half is the hard half. Standards drift when nobody is measuring, so we build measurement into the contract rather than promising vigilance.

  • Documented post orders, so the officer knows what “doing the job” means
  • Supervisor visits on a schedule you can see, not on request
  • Incident reporting that reaches a manager, not just a logbook
  • Replacement and relief cover planned before it is needed
  • Training refreshed as roles change, with progression through the ranks
